Sharing the News

This past weekend we finally spilled the beans and shared our big secret. It was fun to finally be able to publicly talk about it and see everyone's reaction. Here's how it happened:

Mike's immediate family - He said that the annual trivia packet was released early and asked them to look through it to see if they recognized any of the visual trivia. (This is not unusual, as they look through it every year.) The very last page for visual trivia #10 was the sonogram picture. :-)

My immediate family - They all came down on Memorial Day to celebrate my birthday. The last present I opened was a "gift" from Mike. It was a picture frame that says, "All because two people fell in love" with the sonogram picture inside. I thanked him for the gift and passed it around to show everyone else. :-)

Over the next few weeks we plan to share the news with the extended family & friends, in person as much as possible.
