We were thinking that Derek has been gaining weight and were wondering so this weekend I proposed that we bring him into the doctor on Monday for a weight check. He just seemed like he had filled out a little bit and had been eating so well. And of course we're extra motivated to get him back to his birth weight so we can start getting more sleep at night.
We never made it into the doctor's office for that weight check because Mike had another idea:
Mike using our kitchen scale to weigh Derek.
Successfully gaining weight!!
At the last weight check on Thursday, he weighed 6 lbs 7 oz. After subtracting the weight from his diaper, he's gaining weight like we thought and now up to approximately 6 lbs 12 oz. Go Derek!!!
